Consider the following adjectives:

French
revolting
little

Now, use them in a sentence.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.
Isn’t it astonishing how we know inherently—and instantly—the order in which to put adjectives? Imagine how hard it must be for people learning new languages to perfect this skill.

So if your snobby new boyfriend serves you a revolting little French dish, tell him you’d rather go somewhere like Sublime.

Tempura Avocado Sushi with Mango and Toasted Coconut?
What a delicious, nutritious vegan treat. (Or is it nutritious, delicious?)
